There's a big caution sign around the corner from my house in California alerting everyone that mountain lions have been spotted in the area. After growing up around mountain lions, coyotes, swarms of bees, rattlesnakes, and lizards that bite if you grab them by the tail (my brother learned that one for us), all the Michigan wildlife seemed pretty innocuous. Except maybe for the geese.
That's why I'm staying in Michigan. It's safer here.
