Nowadays if you're going to perform your hit song on Sesame Street, you have to make it educational by changing the lyrics to be about the alphabet or proper nutrition. Here, Stevie Wonder just throws in a couple of "Sesame Street" wails towards the end of an extended funky jam and calls it good.

It's already educational enough as it is. Not only does he caution kids against relying too much on unfounded superstitions, but he also throws in a plug for personal hygiene for good measure. No need to change the lyrics.
This is one of my favorite Stevie Wonder songs! I was at the Toledo Zoo once and this elephant was swaying its head back and forth for a long time. My friend Jodi came up behind me and started singing "Superstition" - I laughed so hard! Stevie Wonder the elephant. :)
